Hi folks,

I have this option set up in jenkins now. The trigger phrase in the github
review comments is "jenkins, extra test" (with any trailing info, so
"tests", "testing", etc also match). That will cause jenkins to run some
extra test jobs. Also added this info to wiki:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TRAFODION/Merge+Changes#MergeChanges-AutomatedTesting
The tests should trigger (within about 10 minutes) if the comment comes from
known a trafodion contributor.

The current extra tests include all the SQL test suites that are not in the
Check tests, half run on CDH and half on HDP. Also, the full phoenix T4
suite runs, instead of only the "quick" tests. Note that these test jobs all
take about 2 hours to run if all goes well. Example:
https://jenkins.esgyn.com/job/ExtraTest-PR-master/2/

Working on these changes, I also made a change to how the Check tests are
structured into phases. The check tests (for non-documents) now runs in
three phases: static, build, test. The previous way of running build and
test jobs in parallel enabled some small efficiency of test machine prep
during build, but also caused confusion when a build job failed and hence
the test jobs also failed. Worst case was when one flavor of build worked,
but the other failed, which causes long delay in reporting a build failure.
I think this way will be a lot less confusing, but feedback always welcome.
