Hi Sharan, we should absolutely add something about that to our wiki, yes! I'm not sure into how much detail on git we want to get in that though, it'll probably be more focused on the overall process.
A few examples of how other projects have handled this are: Hadoop: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/HADOOP/How+To+Contribute Hive: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/Hive/HowToContribute HBase: http://hbase.apache.org/book.html#developer Spark: https://spark.apache.org/contributing.html Kafka: https://kafka.apache.org/contributing Personally I think that Spark has done the best job of structuring the page and assisting new people in finding ways to get involved. Maybe we can refer to that when it comes time to create our "contributing" page. Before we do that we need to agree on a workflow that we are all happy with though :) Best regards, Sönke On Fri, Mar 1, 2019 at 3:21 PM Sharan F <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Soenke > > No worries and thanks for fixing it.
