Unfortunately, I'm not at the ApacheCons since I live pretty far away (Oceania). I would've loved to go and talk with you guys in person. I could convert the Spark PPT to Asciidoc, but I don't have a lot of experience with Spark itself, so I can't review the quality of the material. I can also look into the super-pom as well.
