it´s true without further changes e.g. the log folder may not be generated in turbine-webapp. I revert this change.
The reason, why I changed, was that, if using slf4j, you may think of using log4j-over-slf4j as well and then have to exclude log4j itself, otherwise run into difficulties. I think it should be possible and I´ll recheck. Thanks! This is a quite intrusive change. A lot of configurations rely on log4j.
