Ok - updated all the fulcrum components, and working through my reported issues so far with turbine-5.0
Using the debugger, I was able to determine that the method configureLogging() in Turbine.java was trying to resolve the log4j config file relative to the path of TR.props... so, old TR.props were pointing log4j to WEB-INF/conf/log4j.props and you do not need the WEB-INF/conf path any longer. Does that make sense? It now works for me after making this change. I am working on the NPE with logging out a user next... looks like it may have something to do as well with configuration as it could not find the default logout message from config....
