Hi! all new git repos are now ready to use except turbine-fulcrum-site (read comment in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRB-102) and fulcrum-builder (which may be just a maven master build helper repo)! Mirrored git repo Turbine-core has to be switched to become a regular one and turbine-fulcrum is deprecated. Ok?
IMO to have the current web-site "as is" in an initial deployment we would copy the content from a locally generated (updated version) of turbine-site to github.com/apache/turbine-site/content/ (in branch asf-site) Subfolders hopefully (??!) will not be deleted, I do not expect this! All previous versions and Fulcrum subsite should remain "as is". The websites for turbine-core and fulcrum-site should go into branch asf-site and folder github.com/apache/turbine-core/content/ github.com/apache/turbine-fulcrum-site/content/ The detail components would be in each component's asf-site branch content folder as well. Missed I anything (completely)? Do you agree? Do you a different idea? Building: Should we use Jenkins to build the web content? Defining a Jenkinsfile, which would get picked up and build the content would be of course most elegant and a great help! It is mentioned more than once in the docs, that javadoc should be handled separately, check branch javadoc in https://github.com/apache/jena-site. Should we follow this? I propose yes. Last but not least, github features: For now, I would start with https://github.com/apache/turbine-archetypes and some others to add at github feature issues, if nobody disagrees!
