Heads up to folks still listening on these lists: the Apache Tuscany project is likely moving to the Apache Attic within the next month.
Since there is essentially no development activity here, and the members of the Project Management Committee (all volunteers) no longer have the time to actively work on the code, the ASF will likely be moving the project to the Attic. This means that project resources will be turned read-only, the mailing lists will stop accepting messages, and the website will be updated to note the Attic status. Note that the website, code, most recent release, and mailing list archives will still be available! The ASF is a public charity, and our mission is providing software code for the public good, so we will continue to host the code - it will just be read only, and no longer actively developed here. Obviously, since it's all under the permissive Apache license, people are free to fork or re-use the code itself for their own needs. For more about the Attic process, see: http://attic.apache.org/ The Apache board is likely to move Tuscany to the attic either at this month's meeting or next month's meeting. The actual process of migrating resources takes a little while after that. Thanks to all the past volunteers for creating the code! - Shane
