Happy0 opened a new pull request #29: Add a new scuttlebutt module for making RPC calls at a higher level URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-tuweni/pull/29 This change introduces a new `scuttlebutt-client-lib` module, with higher level RPC functions (without having to hand craft certain RPC requests, as it currently stands.) The `ScuttlebuttClientFactory` factory allows a `ScuttlebuttClient` instance to be constructed. The `ScuttlebuttClient` makes available 3 services: * The `FeedService` for making posts to the scuttlebutt feed of the instance the client is connected to, and querying feeds. * The `NetworkService` for generating and using invite codes. * The `RawRequestService` for making hand crafted RPC async and stream requests. This is required because it is possible that the instance the client is talking to exposes custom RPC functions (via `ssb-server` plugins) or uses functions we don't yet have higher level service methods for. The `FeedMessage` class (returned by the `FeedService` class) represents a scuttlebutt message in the database. I have added some unit and system tests for the `FeedService` and `NetworkService` methods. Additionally: * Fixed the `Invite` class to use a seed key (via the `Seed` class) as a 32 byte seed key is expected. Previously, the `PrivateKey` class was used, which expects a 64 byte value. * Added a method to `Signature.java` to construct a `KeyPair` from a `Seed` As outlined in the protocol docs in the invite section: https://ssbc.github.io/scuttlebutt-protocol-guide/#invites) Let me know if you have any questions :)
