OK, should be able to do it today. Here is a draft, does this look good? Some questions I had in mind before sending this:
1. We could target a first release this month, but given the upcoming holidays it may be a tough call. Also, do we require full IP clearance before the first release? In that case it will not be in December. 2. The PPMC guide mentions to "Check that the project's Incubation Status<http://incubator.apache.org/projects/index.html> file up to date. (Also provide the URL.)" . This does not seem to be the case... who is supposed to update that and what is the process? 3. How long does it normally take to get IP clearance? Should we target that for the next period? Thanks -Andreas. Twill Twill is an abstraction over Apache Hadoop® YARN to reduce the complexity of developing distributed applications. Twill has been incubating since 2013-11-14. Top three items to resolve before graduation: - More committers from different organizations. - IP clearance. - Regular Releases. Any issues that the Incubator PMC (IPMC) or ASF Board wish/need to be aware of? - None at this time. How has the community developed since the last report? - This is the first report since incubation. - One new contributor since incubation. How has the project developed since the last report? - Bootstrapping is complete. - Code has been renamed from weave to twill, migrated to org.apache packages, and imported into git. Date of last release: - No releases as of yet. Targeting first release for January. What are the plans for the next period? - Create the website - Initial Release When were the last committers or PMC members elected? - No new committers since incubation.
