Hi all,

so now we have a website that can be generated as part of our build with
maven. The next step is to publish it on the incubator site. Now it appears
(as per http://incubator.apache.org/guides/sites.html) that this comprises
the following steps:

   1. Check in the generated site content under
   https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/twill/<some-path>.
   2. Update the project status page with the exact path where it was
   checked in
   3. Checkout that svn path on people.apache.org under /www/
   incubator.apache.org/content/twill
   4. Run svn update whenever the content has been updated.

For 1, I tried to checkout https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ but
I get an error, that the repository has moved... to the exact same
location. I asked on the #asfinfra channel on IRC and was told that our
mentors have to create incubator/twill and then I can check that out.

For 2, I should be able to do that as soon the content is there.

For 3, that directory does not exist on people.apache.org, and even though
I can ssh in, I do not have privileges to create it, let alone checking out
the svn. I guess one of our mentors needs to do that for us?

For 4, what is the process to do this repeatedly? Is it a cron job, and if
so, who sets it up? Or is it a manual process?

Mentors, please help.

Thanks -Andreas.
