[DISCUSS] Preparing for maintenance release 0.6.1-incubating

Hi All,

I would like to propose maintenance release 0.6.1 which I will just
rebase from master branch to 0.6 branch.

If anyone have concern please let me know.

I will start cutting the branch on Sunday evening PST.
