Hi,
Hi,
I am using Writer from OOo 2.02 on Linux. The modify styles dialog has the
"Standard" button. Pressing it reverts entries on the current tab to the
inherited ones.
Not exactly. It removes the settings from the style which results in the
display and use of the inherited values.
So:
1. It's labelled "Standard" which is confusing. Why not just "Inherit"?
Whatever name you choose there will be some confusion ;-)
2. The tooltip mentions about "default installation values" Ekhmm, What? My
proposal is "Applies settings from the linked style".
3. It's in the bottom along with OK, Cancel and it seems like it applies to
the whole dialog. This is also the case with the "Reset" button.
The buttons are part of a general style dialog where the pages can be
inserted generically. That's why they are there. But you're right, the
buttons should be located on the dialog pages.
How about submitting an issue or two? (One for the label/tooltip text
and one for the button location)
Regards,
Oliver
