Jerry Cwiklik closed UIMA-2388.
-------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Modified UIMA AS service to self-destruct via System.exit() when an error
threshold is exceeded and action=terminate if the process doesnt stop on its
own. Also, before stopping send a reply back to the client with an exception
that caused the error handler to terminate the process. Modified extended jUnit
tests to disable call to System.exit() when action=terminate.

> When UIMA AS service error threshold is exceeded and action=terminate, the
> process does not seem to exit. Spin a dedicated shutdown thread and allow the
> process to cleanup and terminate. If the process does not stop due to one of
> AEs being stuck in process(), the error handler will call System.exit() after
> 30 seconds.
