I tried a release, but found at the release:perform stage some failures due to some config param changes which Burn was still working on (which I apparently never had updated my workspace for).
I've rolled back the release try (poms set to 2.4.2-SNAPSHOT again), and will try after Burn finishes his testing of the config param changes he was doing. Sorry for the SVN noise. -Marshall
