Hi, The binary distribution includes jetty-all-server-7.6.7....jar, which has an about file which has a license sentence for the jetty-util artifact, which says, in part "Permission to use, copy, modify and distribute UnixCrypt for non-commercial or commercial purposes and without fee is granted provided that the copyright notice appears in all copies." This sentence is missing in the uima-as merged LICENSE/NOTICE file; however the rest of the paragraph is included in the NOTICE. I would suggest the whole paragraph be moved to the license file, and removed from the NOTICE file (doesn't need to be there if covered in the license).
