Eddie Epstein commented on UIMA-4690: ------------------------------------- Registered a service in a class with no resources. The service goes into state=starting on the service page, and on the service detail page shows state=WaitingForResources with Reason="Deferred because no hosts in class junk have sufficient memory to accomodate the request." Meanwhile the SM continue to function normally, and subsequent ducc_service requests worked with no problem. > DUCC service manager hangs when starting a service that has no available > resoures > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: UIMA-4690 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-4690 > Project: UIMA > Issue Type: Bug > Components: DUCC > Reporter: Burn Lewis > Assignee: Jim Challenger > Fix For: 2.1.0-Ducc > > > When the SM starts a service in a scheduling_class that has no available > resources it appears to hang waiting for the resource.
