- downloaded binary tarball, checked md5 and sha1 sums
- unpacked, set UIMA_HOME, updated PATH and ran adjustExamplePaths.sh
- startBroker.sh worked, staying in foreground
- ran basic test (MeetingDetectorTaeQueue) from README
- tested new service warmup feature using xmi-zip file with explicit path
- tested warmup using binary-zip file with path
- tested warmup using zip file located in jar file
- tested compatibility with uimacpp v2.4.0 service
This did NOT work. Further testing showed that the version of libamqcpp
used with
that version is incompatible with the new broker included in this
UIMA-AS
... the sample application from libamqcpp showed the same problem: just
hangs
- rebuilt uimacpp with latest version of libamqcpp and it worked
