> Alerts
> It would be very useful for administrators and users to know when critical
> situations arise. One case is where a core daemon, such as Orchestrator or
> Resource Manager has become uncommunicative. This can be seen on the Daemons
> page, but many times this page is not regularly checked. We thus introduce
> an additional line to the banner of the main pages that remains undisplayed
> unless one of the core daemons is determined to be down.
> Example: ALERT - critical component(s) unresponsive: Database
> Messages
> It would be very useful for administrators to communicate upcoming events to
> the user community, such as a scheduled maintenance window. Like alerts, it
> would be handy to display this information on each of the main pages.
> Example: Do not adjust your set. This is a message from your DUCC
> administrator.
