The component info in a CAS is designed to be set every time a (primitive)
component in the pipeline is entered. It's supposed to be reset (to null) when
a pipeline primitive is finished processing a CAS. You can see this in Eclipse
looking at the CASImpl source and finding the method setCurrentComponentInfo,
and asking to see the "Call Hierarchy".
It's possible that some case was missed. It would be great if there was a test
case showing this failure :-).
