any pointers to docs on setting up different "identities" ( id-names and emails ) on one GitHub account?
(as you can see, I'm missing some "basics" ... :-) and google doesn't seem to be my friend) Perhaps the problem is "English" - meaning of the word "account" and "identity". Does this article https://gist.github.com/JoaquimLey/e6049a12c8fd2923611802384cd2fb4a titled "How to Work with GitHub and Multiple Accounts", really mean "How to Work with GitHub with one account and multiple identities" ? If so, does that article more-or-less describe what you're doing? -Marshall On 8/30/2019 9:49 AM, Richard Eckart de Castilho wrote: > Hi, > > I use one account for all activities, but I have configured per-repository > names / emails depending on which identity I act as on the given project.
