Well the funny thing in software: we have just identified a bug that is
pretty annoying because it will generate invalid data in the profile when
merging (basically it duplicates the information for the control groups
after a merge), so I will probably prepare a 1.7.1 release since the 1.7.0
has been pushed to Maven Central already (so we can't roll it back). The
idea of the new release is to minimize the number of people using 1.7.0 so
that we minimize the number of corrupted profiles to avoid having to do
complex migrations.

So I'm taking this opportunity to say that if we could get votes in as
quickly as possible it would be much appreciated :)

Kevan is working on a fix, hopefully it will be available today so I can
restart a release.
