I am not in favor of more load on ES or using Groovy which may have
vulnerabilities which we will need to track. We want to keep the ES footprint
as small as possible and not add more there than we need to.
I am in favor of doing it within the Usergrid code. Determining the distance
between two points on a plane is not rocket science, so any discrepancy in ES
vs. Usergrid is likely to be minimal, if there is any at all.
