This is a good idea. We could use
[Sys::Syslog|http://perldoc.perl.org/Sys/Syslog.html]. It would take a bit of
work since there are many places in the management node code which reference
the *$LOGFILE* variable.
We could potentially include this in the post-VCL 2.5 release.
