-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I set the "fix version" for a number of JIRA issues to 2.5.1. Most of the issues are bugs, but there are a few improvements that should be a small amount of work to do as well. The current list of open issues that are tagged with 2.5.1 is
VCL-1097: add hidden files to empty directories to force them to be included in Git repo VCL-1096: Add ability to automatically mount NFS shares under Windows VCL-1095: Move unjoining of Windows VMs from Active Directory to earlier in the deprovision process VCL-1091: Add Log4Perl as a option for producing vcld logs VCL-1090: Set location of MN_PRIVATE_ENCRYPTION_KEY_FILE_PATH from property file VCL-1089: Change ping module to use Net::Ping::External VCL-1083: Data in shares mounted under Linux home directories may be deleted VCL-1082: monitor_vcld.pl throws incorrect lastcheckin time exception after Daylight Savings Time Roles Back VCL-1081: UID conflict for admin user VCL-1079: Virtual Hosts page references Computer Utilities VCL-1041: Customer facing email notifications are ugly VCL-1040: Issues with backend usage of Site Configuration variables Additionally, the following issues are marked as bugs that we may want to consider including. I'd prefer not to include any that take a fair amount of work with this being a sub dot release. Any that require a fair amount of work have the potential to introduce other problems. So we need to remember that balance as we fix issues for this release. VCL-1093: vSphere_SDK.pm:vm_unregister - failed to unregister VM VCL-1078: Undefined subroutine error because vSphere_SDK.pm does not implement append_text_file VCL-1028: new images and revisions cannot be selected until the revisions a user can access is updated in the user's PHP session VCL-998: Request may be left in pending state if database connection is lost VCL-994: serverCheckOut without imageCheckOut does not grant access to an image group VCL-720: Create centralized subroutine to create DataStructure objects VCL-611: Windows Images may be registered with the wrong KMS host I probably won't be including VCL-1028 because my initial guess is that it would be fairly involved to fix it. I will have a look to see though. I'm thinking I'll end up including VCL-720, but I'll need to evaluate the amount of work for that one as well. If you think any of the above issues that aren't yet tagged with 2.5.1 should be included, feel free to go ahead and tag them. One other item to consider is VCL-1098 which would add support for the newer networking in Ubuntu 18. This would be a moderate amount of work. However, it would be contained to its own OS module. So, if it has bugs, it wouldn't make other parts of the code less stable. I think it would be worth evaluating to see how much work would be involved to include it in 2.5.1.
