rat reports some files missing license headers:

./src/java/org/apache/velocity/util/introspection/LinkingUberspector.java
./src/test/org/apache/velocity/test/util/introspection/ChainedUberspectorsTestCase.java

When these are fixed, I'm +1 on the beta.

signature checks out, md5 checks out. Builds with ant 1.7.1 on Linux
x86_64 using Sun JDK 1.6.0_07

There is some odd output in some of the test cases, don't know whether
this is intended or not (it shows part of the ASL for an SQL statement)

        Ciao
                Henning
