Claude Brisson resolved VELOCITY-852.

Fix Version/s: 1.7.x
The only way this NPE can happen is if the "children" member field of the
ASTDirective node is null. I've never heard of such a condition, something
seems very wrong.
Parsing your files with Velocity Engine 1.7 doesn't give me any NPE.
Since this bug is 4 years old, I'm closing it. Feel free to reopen and add
materials to help us reproduce it.
