Drawback, IMO, is that the other items on the page are missed (unless
you scroll).

Well, some people wanted less clicks, and that's what they are getting. It
was also argued that downloads could get some more prominence, hence,
that's what they are getting ;)

Well it's not bad really, but I agree with Cor that it does seem to swallow the whole page. But...maybe we should just go ahead with this for now, and deal with a better design a bit down the road.


Best change though made is probably

, instead of contribute.html (autoredirect in 2sec)
