We will have a news tab quite soon... however... this functionality
overlaps with the announcement functionality that is not used at the
moment.
Why not use announcements and make a link to this feed:
http://test.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectNewsRSS
?
As this, http://test.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectNewsList , is a
servlet, we can also detect it from the header.vm files... and thus set
the tab to active.
