I am looking at ways we can make editing the OpenOffice.org Wiki a
little easier for all involved. For longer and more complex pages, the
MediaWiki markup can get a little overwhelming and difficult to read and
edit.

One possible solution is to use the FCKeditor extension for MediaWiki.
This would provide a nice WYSYIWYG editor environment for creating and
editing Wiki pages.

You can go play in a sandbox here:
http://mediawiki.fckeditor.net/index.php/Sandbox

The main information page is here:
http://mediawiki.fckeditor.net/index.php/Main_Page

What does everyone think? Would you prefer to edit only in the raw
MediaWiki markup (as it is now)? or in a WYSIWYG editor? (note that the
FCKeditor allows you to switch back and forth between raw Wiki markup
and WYSIWYG) Would this change in the editing environment be helpful?
