Hey. Wow man, I really dig the GUI in the upper-right hand corner of
the OOo website. The colors are amazing, it feels light and
responsive, and I think it's just awesome.
The one thing I wanted to point out is this:
Whenever you change which tab is visible, keyboard focus should be
removed from GUI widgets on the previous tab. It seems silly to allow
the user to accidentally modify the contents of such GUI widgets
whenever they can't see what they're doing, but also important is that
it causes minor rendering glitches to occur on some systems. For
instance in Firefox on Windows, if I switch to another tab with my
cursor still a text box that is now hidden, the blinking cursor
appears to be floating in the middle of nowhere over the content of
whatever tab/pane is being displayed.
