it is indeed a nice page but we should talk to them and should correct the spelling for OpenOffice.org. They use simply Open Office with space and without .org

I think it will be great to use hover: and for IE use .htc.

I think openoffice 3 need also some features list.

this is a very nice site...and what you propose has merits.

I really like our new site, but....

 * for some reason it's loading very slowly for me right now, and...
 * the way the <attention box w/gull??> is styled, it's almost always
dropping down to the right bottom of my screen. I typically keep a left
sidebar open (Firefox), and this problem goes away if I close my sidebar,
but I don't like it. So, maybe someone could fix this so it ALWAYS hangs to
the upper right?

If we tried to add in a small "Features" box as Michal suggests, perhaps we
could have the <gull box> right below it?

I'm not proposing that now that we have a nice clean look, we should
suddenly now begin to clutter it up, but maybe ONE more element would be
nice.

so maybe my question is ... But the idea:

Could it be possible to make the news-item on the home-page, under

after
another?
Definitely there are more items right now that need and deserve this
prominent beautiful place.

Louis is probably the person to ask for this (since he has editing
access to the homepage), but I haven't seen any messages from him in
weeks. The security notice implies that OOo 2.4 is available for
different OS's, so (unless I misread it) the text on the download
action statement needs changing as well.

Hmm, I was not clear. I do not mean that there is need for another text
atm, but that it would be nice to have few text looping...

 Ciao,
