Hi all,
I think this may be of interest for you.
Kind regards

I find that the OOo site is beautifully done. However, my eyes are
getting old and I cannot read the parts of the page in low contrast. You
have very light gray on white, white on light gray, very light blue on
light blue, and so forth. The login button is almost invisible -- I did
not know where it was until someone pointed it out to me.
The present condition of the page tells me two things: (1) The designers
are young people with good eyesight. (2) Neither the designers nor the
owners care very much about people with poor eyesight.
Yes, I know that I can make Firefox use higher contrast simply by
unchecking the box the allows the page to use its own colors. This makes
your pages black and white, with out the colored background.
BTW, I am in the habit of using Ctrl-+ to increase the size of fonts in
many applications. This causes the search box on your pages to cover up
part of the message in the blue area at the top. This sort of thing is
quite common on the Web. I wish that designers would let people with
mild vision problems check their work.
I realize I am asking for a major redesign, but it is necessary if you
are to serve the community fully.
