I think one of the reasons Verdana was dropped is that it is a Microsoft font, and thus not always available on other platforms. Alexandro/Ivan, is this true? or am I misremembering as usual? :-) Could we add "Verdana" and "Bitstream Vera Sans" and keep "sans-serif" as the fallback font? Would that cover all the bases for readable fonts on the OOoWiki?
