HI,
First - I really like the new header for the site
Second - I really don't like the new way the login box functions.
Why?
Pre-filling the username field with the string "username" means that my
browser, firefox, can no longer do that for me.
That means I type in my user name each time I need to logon to the site,
(ok, one letter, arrow down, enter) *however* when I do it takes me
right to my pages.
My usual scenario
OLD way
Whilst browsing planet-go-oo.og I spy a new Issue entered for Base. (or
note it from an email)
Jump to the issue number to see if it is unconfirmed to confirm or
comment on it possibly.
Use the login function and the page remains on the Issue but now the
controls to make edits to the issue are displayed and active.
NOW
...jump to an issue listing.
I use the login function
takes me to "my start page"
Page back in the browser
Page refresh to get the edit controls to display.....arrrrgh.
So - the login user name box pre-filling with "username" instead of a
label - fine.
Jump me right to "My start page"...please, no.
