Hello all, After sleeping on it (it was almost 2AM when I wrote that last email) and even dreaming about this problem (you know it's bad when you start dreaming about problems :) ), I finally figured out the cause: the div id that I assigned to the Language Selection link was the same as the name of a variable in download.js. While all the other browsers I had tested were fine, Internet Explorer didn't like this. Once I changed the name of the link ID, it worked as expected. I tested it in IE6 and IE8 (both standards and compatibility mode), and there was no more error. I have since reinstated the new header and tested it again in IE6 and IE8; everything worked as expected.
