Hi Joost,
Great. Then I direct these people to the native lang site in the documents.
Does download.openoffice.org do this as well?

Hi Per,
first such native language teams should themselves actively involve
into the release process and release their binaries which may be
available as release candidate from the extended mirror network. Then
I could add a Bouncer link for each of the files. Then these Bouncer
links can be added to the native language team's homepage.
Kind regards, Joost

The reason why I am asking, is where to direct users that are reading
instructions from the documentation project.
I actually think that they should be directed to the native lang
project directly. This way they can learn more about what is expected
from them in their native language.
What do you think?
Kind rgds

Hi Kay,
I mean the language packs for languages not released as full
installations.
For e.g. indonesian users that come to the download site. Where do
they
find their language packs? How are the users expected to behave, visit
Native Lang community?
Well I don't know what happens exactly. The download scripts picks up
the language locale from the browser user agent. If the locale can't be
found ( this is the set found in download.openoffice.org) the language
defaults to us-en. So, I don't know what these users do at that point.
We could try some improvements and put them into the native-lang main
page at this point I guess. I'd be curious to know what exactly does
happen in these cases. I don't know what the expectations are, nor do I
have first hand knowledge of their experiences... :/
Can nanyone assist with some testing here?

Hi,
What download page for language packs should we point to?
We point to download.openoffice.org for downloads. But where do you
point for language packs?
Per--Do you mean the language dictionaries? If so, these are obtained
through the extensions link on download.openoffice.org.

If this isn't what you mean, then please clarify.
