Since the re-layout of the OOoWiki Main Page, things have really slowed down when you load that page. It seems tied back to the DPL part of the page (as someone mentioned a while back, DPL has the potential to really slow things down, especially when it's a complex or big query).
When I was upgrading the Wiki, and the DPL extension was temporarily disabled, the Main Page loaded very quickly. Once the DPL extension was restored, the Main Page loading time increased a lot. I'd like to suggest that we remove those blocks completely from the Wiki Main Page (or find another way to present that info) - but I didn't want to go ahead and just do it without bringing it up here first.
