I contacted Kay Koll from SO/OOo Marketing and he said he saw this
discussion thread and has already made a corrected version of the ad,
"but because of the long updated cycles it will take some time until you
find it in the installer"
So thanks again for the pointer on this issue. Now we have to just wait
it out.
Gotta love communication. It works.

Thank you /very/ much for the feedback. :-D The fix is in the works; for
everybody, that's a win!
Considering the long update cycle, I hope he checked both ads. On a
broadband connection, the "Download" ad doesn't show for long, so my
memory is hazy about its quality.
If it's not too much trouble, could some graphically-literate kind soul
contribute a few technical words about the problem (even just what to
call it)? My report was the local equivalent of, "The engine is making
a funny noise", which may be better than nothing, but isn't nearly as
helpful as it could be.
Thanks again.
