The comment on the blanking edit says that you cannot impose a new
policy on existing content, but this is not entirely correct. Adding a
disclaimer that "this policy may not apply to content posted before",
&c., is one way. A related disclaimer that "copyrighted content will be
removed on request" is another.
This is a long-lead-time item, since it will probably have to go through
a legal review. Still, a page with 21K hits should say /something/.
