The rake svn:update command has intermittent failures, such as:
svn: E175002: Unexpected HTTP status 400 'Bad Request' on '...'
These don't affect the running of Whimsy unless they are persistent.
However they still cause PingMyBox alerts.
So it might make sense to retry the command once or twice, and only report an
error if no tries succeed.
