I have tried to update the Whimsy code to avoid using ou=pmc, however this is proving tricky, as the ASF::Committee class in ldap.rb is used for two things: - membership of ou=pmc groups - container for an ASF Committee (PMC or non-PMC)
There are still some areas where the code relies on ou=pmc LDAP groups. These will probably cause Whimsy to fail in various ways when the groups are removed. [This was originally scheduled for earlier today, but has not yet happened] Extra eyes on the ldap.rb code and how it is used would be very useful.
