It's working fine with Maven 3.0.3 on Ubuntu 10.04 (vanilla OS install + jdk -
no local maven cache). I have been able tu run mvn clean install && mvn package
assembly:assembly. Now testing with Maven 2.2.1 - it takes a while to "download
the internet".
