Recently Igor explained it in one of the tickets.
org.apache.wicket.RestartResponseAtInterceptPageException.InterceptData.set()
- here the originalUrl is preserved. This is the url to the behaviorListener
(the link in your case). It is re-executed at
#continueToOriginalDestination().
