>> <reuseForks>false</reuseForks> That doesn't seem to resolve the problem reliably: I've upgraded my branch to 8.7.0-SNAPSHOT and am seeing the same build failures like before sometimes. It seems that switching from false to true make the build fail always easily. > mvn test -pl :wicketstuff-jamon But switching from true to false doesn't make it succeed always with the above command line, only mostly. Sometimes it still fails. But it still seems to fail reliably for the followin: > mvn package Tried multiple times, not one successful build. That worked perferctly with the 8.6.0-branch I had before. But whats pretty weird is the following: > mvn package -X That seems to succeed always as well. I was using that to get the surefire-command line executed for the failing test, but only by appending "-X" the build doesn't fail anymore. Without it it fails always, with never. "mvn test" succeeds at least mostly as well. There seems to be some weird sideeffect somewhere making the test fail in the end. The test itself doesn't even really fail at all, only shutting down the JVM for that particular test is the problem for some reason because of a wrong goodby-message.
