Hi, I'd like to contribute to this issue. I'll investigate the byte-range handling in `AbstractResource` and add regression tests for suffix ranges, unsatisfiable ranges, and ranges extending beyond the resource length. I noticed the related PR #1672 addresses malformed Range headers. I'll make sure my proposed changes focus on the remaining range-handling cases and avoid overlapping with that work.
