The Apache Wookie project is looking for confirmation of requirements with respect to BIS notifications via Legal-148 [1]
The issue was reported way back on 31 Aug 2012 and this is holding up releases from the project. Given they have a monthly release cycle such a long delay is quite difficult to manage. Can anyone here help answer the question which is summarized as.. "Apache Wookie (incubating) is including a dependency on Apache Santuario XMLSec jar for the purpose of signing documents and verifying digital signatures using RSA+SHA256. Does this require us to create a BIS notification and add the podling release to http://www.apache.org/licenses/exports/ ?" I've cc'd the projects dev list ion case there is a need for more info.
