Thanks for the reply. Yes, the current state of Axiom snapshots are building fine for Axis2. We just need an Axiom release, so the source distro that Axis2 releases is not using Axiom snapshots to compile.
Andreas is also a committer to Axis2 - in fact, the most prolific member of the project in terms of commits. I mentioned Axiom on the Axis2 dev list several times. And, that I am discussing an Axiom release with dev@ws.apache.org. I offer my help any way I can.
