I didn't have much time to go though this issue. Report generation happens at the end of test execution and doesn't break any thing. So you can simple comment the reporting module and proceed.
Let me know, if this issue blocking your work and really urgent to get it fixed. BTW, did you get any time to check whether this is maven exec plugin issue?
