Things suggest Deployemnt Engine Implementation - modify some property names on carbon.xml file <deploymentEngineConfig> prop name to <deployment> - to hide implementation details from user - <Mode> should be configured - scheduled/triggered [string val] so it can be easily extended when needed - User Executor service instead of Timer - CarbonSchedulerTask implementation should be a Runnable instance Handle hot update of artifacts (handle gracefully) [undeploy/deploy will not work since server will be on an inconsistent state] - put deployer on maintenance mode [reject/ or queue the income requests] - if there are available request first serve all that req’s - then deploy the new artifact - create the service - then register the new service - switch to normal mode Deployer - hotUpdate() handle on runtime aware manner - Large files - partially copied to the deployment directory use write locs - ignore faulty artifacts [maintain fault artifact list] Thanks, Manoj Best Regards..
