Hi Harsha / Hasintha Basic authentication supports with the initial version of cas-inbound-authenticator. In next version of cas-inbound-authenticator, we can add federated support in future and while validating the tickets , we used /serviceValidate , not /samlValidate.
As Kathees mentioned, there are other protocols (OpenID,OAuth and SAML) supports with CAS, but we didn't include that features in initial version of cas-inbound-authenticator.
